“Shelley”

The Sheridan Silver Streak air rifle is legendary for durability and reliability.
The gun was manufactured in Racine, Wisconsin, USA.
To the best of my knowledge, the gun was manufactured between 1949 and 1953. (See Notes below)
I have restored it to the best of my ability to full functionality and original condition.
  • New Valves
  • New Seals
  • New Pump Cup
*Stock:*
The walnut stock has a beautiful patina with minor scratches and dings.
 *Mechanics:*
The pump mechanism works smoothly, and it holds air overnight.
The trigger pull is crisp, and it shoots accurately.
Eight-pump max and requires .20 caliber pellets.
The push-down safety position can be annoying, but the gun is a joy to shoot, and its accuracy is impressive.
Notes:
1949-53 models came with a straight bolt handle, screws instead of roll pins in the pump handle, and soldered rear sights.
  • From what I can tell, the previous owners unsoldered the rear sight and replaced it with a scope mount. This mount was broken when I bought it, so it was replaced with a common Sheridan rear sight.
  • I installed a replacement bolt with a curved handle.  I have the original bolt, but previous owners broke or removed the handle.
  • I repaired a crack in the under part of the pump handle near the endcap.
  • I don't have an explanation for the roll pins.  If you have insight into this, please message me, and I'll update the description.
This Sheridan Silver Streak, a piece of airgun history, was proudly made in the USA. Its unique features and impeccable craftsmanship make it a treasure for collectors and shooters..
